OTR MINING TIRE RECYCLING PLANT

Metaproject develops its own OTR mining tire recycling plant and electric power generation plant. The generation of used tires constitutes an international environmental problem and one of greater urgency. In one operation, around 12 to 14 thousand old tires are thrown away each year.

 

In Chile, the high-tonnage tires used by large-scale copper mining are a worrying case, as they are being increasingly accumulated, becoming an environmental liability that occupies large areas of land, becoming true tire cemeteries, which accumulate every year. Metaproject is venturing into an important project with the Thermocatalysis technique, the most innovative process for recycling tires, garbage and plastics, which produces oil, gas and coal and which will provide electricity to mining companies
